I've signed up for ABC!
Omgosh.
I'm really doing this by faith.
'Cause I haven't apply leave yet.
Will most probably be bunking with Z-e and Isaac (the smaller one).
I feel the pinch in my pocket. ):

Bought a new bicycle too.
$108 (bike) +$13 (chain) + $10 (rear light) + $14 (mud guard) = $145!!!
Pinch no.2
Was caught in the rain afterwards.
Stuck for 2 hours in the bike shop doing nothing, so I decided to do some reading. (:

Who's taking bus up for ABC?
How much de?
I'm taking the $50 one.

Looking forward to Z-e's performance on Friday night.
Do a solo after the whole thing for me to see ok?
Jiayou Z-e! Go go go! (:

Went to Iluma, newest shopping mall in town!
Really big and has got cool designs on the outside.
The interior of the building looks ultra atas!
Ameba is a really cool place to visit too, especially to buy presents.
This newest Ameba @ Iluma opens from 1130-2130hrs daily, located at Lv 3, unit 21 (#03-21).

Anyways, I went down there, first customer you know!?
Got in while they were CLOSED!
Lol.
I was their first sales customer too!
Bought some presents for my friend's upcoming birthday, and her's too.
Rushed down for rehearsal.
Had chicken rice for lunch.
Luke was late by an hour, zzz..
Monkey dodo.
I left rehearsal @ 1430hrs to attend Chien Chong's Leadership training.
She was there. (:
Enjoyed it lots.
Chien Chong is such a good speaker/teacher.
He'll be this year's YPM Camp speaker!
So looking forward to it.
Then after that went to scavange some leftovers, she was there too! (:

Service -> Cell.
Passed some Combat Rations to girls who would like to try, haha.
They were so facinated by it.
Some liked them, while others didn't, as usual.
Had audition for YPM (as a Drummer) today.
Played 'Open Up The Gates' & 'You Are My Strength'.
Didn't really do it perfect, but still acceptable la.
Then went for dinner with Guang.
Had LJS, they served ultra big portion today!
Played game together with her before I left. (:

Reached home late.
Have to continue preparing for Bible Study tomorrow.
XiaoZhu will be coming to church with me tomorrow, finally.
Am happy overall on what'd happened today.
Praise God! (:

Yo.
This week, Veg was 'cool'.
Why so?
He help defend us from 'Evil 1st Sgt' (E1S), haha.

--
E1S took the new pioneer platoon, who stay at our block's lv 4.
My Course is living on the 3rd.
Before that was lecture, after that was lecture too, by Veg.
We were falling in for dinner, around 1830h.
E1S brought his platoon back from dinner.
Then he summoned my Course I/C over to himself, and asked why we never show him respect and greet him.
My I/C said "Oh, I didn't see you...", which was true, cause he marched behind him.

At the same time, overseeing this was Veg @ Lv 2, outside the Lecture Room.
He then came down and asked "What's happening?"
The I/C told him what happened, and was told to go back and lead my course for dinner, 'cause it was getting late.
As the I/C was 'Se-di-ar-ing' us, E1S walked over to Veg, and ACT as if he's very close to him.
E1S then tried to put his arm over Veg, BUT was shunned off by Veg!
And Veg said this: "You better show some F***ing respect, I don't want to embarrass you in front of your platoon."
Those who over heard when "Wow" in their mind, and shared it all over the table during dinner.
As I hear, I was totally shocked that Veg would do this, and laughed crazily.

After dinner, we got back to the Lecture Room and awaited for his arrival.
It was to my surprise that he knows that we had listened in the conversation.
He even requested us to do and reenactment!
LoL.
--

Secondly, is that my course was told to take the Highway Code, 'cause we will need to be the V-Comm in the future after we pass-out.
I personally thought it was easy peasy initially, no need to study those type of test.
But in the end, I failed more than 10 times, even with the help of my friend, 'cause he isn't sure for some questions also.
Cannot hit the 90% mark. always 88% or 86%.
Pok.
I finally got it after almost 20 tries, with 2 friend's help.
Gosh.
Then after that I also went around helping others, along with those who'd helped me.
It was funny, as the people who were still taking the test had doubts on the help we're providing them with.
In the end, the whole lab was filled with laughter and loud talking ('cause we're trying to convince them).
Fun! (:

Euegne's new Ameba shop is opening today!
I wanna go down.
But can't stay long, 'cause I've got rehearsal @ 1300h. ):
So I'd better start getting ready, or else I'll be late!
Ciaoz

--I miss seeing you. See you later! d:--

To you Avelyn!!! (:
You're 17 this year, and I wish all is well with you.
My best friend's Girl, haha.
Thank you for treating a wodnerful lunch over at Astons!
Had fun eating with you and the gang.
Guang & Weiren was there too, made me not feel left out amongst all the girls there, haha.
Initially was still quite reluctant to go unless Guang goes, 'cause if he doesn't, i'll be the only guy around.
Not so good.
Went to SONG & SONG before that and window shop.
Super funny, things there are really cheap!

Brought Avelyn to buy her present thereafter.
NEVER DO THAT, I've learnt.
She is good at guessing what you're gonna buy.
As I bought her persent, she guessed most of the "meaning behind" why I bought them.
I hope you like the present I gave you, with lots of thoughts! (:

Went to Starhub shop in the afternoon to get my C510.
BUT to my astonishment, the phone is no longer $98 which I had seen last week!
The price went up by $100.
WOAH, I was totally dumbfounded in the face of the salesperson.
Never am I gonna buy this phone at such price man.
I even went down to TM to check out if the PP shop was cheating me.
They weren't. ):
Went back home empty handed, wasted trip.
Sianz, now I'll have to wait till the price of that phone drop until $98 then purchase.
Don't know how long will that be.

Stay positive!
Oh well, have to book in now.
Re-test tml.
Ciaoz

There's too many things bothering me now.
I need to solve them one by one with God's help.

The adventurous me decided to go for a skate today morning.
Skating along a new route was fun, and it's hard to predict what might appear on the corners, so I went slow.
It's been a long time since I'd skated.
And you guess it right, I fell.
Here's what happened...

--
Went to the newly built park around the Anchorvale region.
I thought that it was terrific at first.
The one on the Left has a really steep slope, skating down it was nerve breaking.
Went one round around it, and I was STILL in one piece!
So I ventured off to the other side, the Right side.

Now there were some couple taking photos under a nicely built shelter (there's a better term than this.)
As for me, I want to avoid them, lest I might interrupt their photo shooting.
And I headed down a carpark just beside.
It was a downawrd slope road.
It's squarish.
I went for it.
I know I can manage the turn at the bend.
But I totally forgotten about this - Rollerskate and wet ground do not compliment each other!
BUAHK!
And worst of all, the wet area (just a wee bit of water winding from the curb) was located at the bend.
While I was turning, I went low, like motorcross bikers those kinda angle.
And as soon as I hit the wet ground, I felt a wobble on my skates.
Thud!!
Prissssss....... (sound produced when human ski on rough road surfaces with their rollerblades on)
KO.
I was lying on flat on the ground.
To save the discomfiture from passer-bys, I got up quickly, brushed off the dirt and cleaned my wounds.
Pretty good break fall though.
Only ski 1-2m.
Ended with a superficial cut on my wrist, and a big bump on my tight (like a big mosquito bite!)
--

A particular aunty who was with her kid at the park stared at me, as if I were a clown from the circus.
cheh.

Went on to Macs to takpao (ang moh slang) breakfast home.
Didn't bring coupons along (cause I don't have, zzz.)
Wasted.

I had too much garlic yesterday.
The taste still lingers in my mouth even though I'd brushed my teeth yesterday night.
Ewwwww! ><

Boo hoo!
Fail my Basic Explosive Knowledge test
Gua!
Don't even know how many marks.
I shall ask Sir what is my result.
Re-test is scheduled on Monday evening.
Have to book-in at 1900hrs on Sunday, 3 hrs earlier to "revise" for the re-test.
What nonsense!
It's just sort of like a form of punishment la.

I was stupid today.
Did what I usually do yet again - saying the wrong things at the wrong time.
Damn it.
Seriously pissed off with that sir. (I shall name him Veg, cause his surname is like so.)
He kept making us reply him "Yes Sir" at a 2km turn of our run, for no obvious good reason.
So I said "His hearing got problem sia".
I just simply whispered, but he managed to hear it. What the pok man.
Even the people near me didn't really catch it.
Zzz. Suay.
Then tio pump in front of the whole company lor.
Confirm kena blacklisted.
There goes the hope of getting "The Bayonet". (It's Silver, and it's for those who really excel)
Sigh.
Not doing well for the test was also equals to me taking a step back away from it.
But still, this veg is no good.
After the run, he continued on with his pattern.
luh.
Well, but I do reget making a fool out of myself.

Prob 17:28
Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.

Am I worse than that of a fool? Geez.

Had yet another test today still.
40 MCQs, 10 T&Fs.
I think I might just screw it up yet again.
Went to the Smoke Chamber (Smoke Training Facility [SFT])
Was able to put up with the burning sensation of the CS gas this time round.
Maybe it's 'cause I already had the experience of such in SISPEC.
The whole practical went quite smoothly.

Book-out at 1830hrs and reached home by 1900hrs.
Went for supper at 2130hrs and came back at 2330hrs.
The supper was pretty good.
Prawn mee 'there' rocks, go and try it some time soon.

Alrighty, I'm done.
Time to send some mails.

Was kinda joyous doing sound for main service on Sunday
Went to CafeBar to have lunch with my mentor - Kevin the Doc - and Chong Lip
We had a great time of sharing our concerns with one another.

Have faith in what you Pray for.

Thereafter, I went to meet up with the lunch gang and gathered some forces to head down to Suntec to fight 'The Great Battle'.
People who were in the fight were Aaron, Melvyn, Joshua Kim, Gideon.
It was quite norm to see the "usual size" crowd at the IT Show. (sorry that i do not have any camera to take photos to suppliment my "usual size" crowd.)
took about 5 mins for me and Aaron to get to Level 3.
Wanted to buy a laptop/computer and (In-Ear Monitor) IEM Earpiece.
But after 4 hours of shopping, only bought the IEM.
Cause I'd decided that I'll just wait till i get out of NS then buy my new computer, then only would my spending be justified.
Really want a camera, but oh well.
--
End Result:
Melvyn bought a pair of Binoculars and a camera.
Gideon purchased a laptop.
Surprising, Aaron didn't buy anything!
Kim just went there for fun.
I bought a speaker.

All survived, phew.
--
But nonetheless, Singaporeans will always be Singaporean.
Always trying to squeeze through the crowd to get what they want.
The smell there, pewwwwwww!
Body contact 60% of the time.
Girls CANNOT GO ALONE!
Actually, I won't even suggest that they go at all.
(Though not all there are Singaporeans. Alot of Banglas and Chinas too nowadays!)

Getting back home wasn't easy.
Aaron told me to stay off City Link, cause it was like Chinatown in there.
So I decide to take a bus.
Traffic ended up quite horrendous too.
Took me a good 1h30mins to get home!
Ended up going back to camp Just On Time.
Thank God.

I should invest in a camera.

Wow. i've just moved to my new unit this week, and it seems pretty cool.
the Cookhouse is really regimental.
eg. if you put "Not Ok" or "Lousy" the aunite will come and HUNT YOU DOWN!
so funny lah.
but not bad, that means the Cookhouse management got standard.

The people there are friendly.
and the course is quite fun as till now.
this unit is quite good like back to the old days in bmt (I mean the exercise regime).
bad thing is that it's SUPER dusty when we first came.
but it's much better after we had put in termendous effort to make it clean.
and at night, my bed would be infested with WEIRD bugs
cause i sleep on the upper deck just under the lighting
and the camp is near some forest.
but it's really near to my house! (Walkable Distance) (:

It feels as if i'm back in secondary school also
have to take Chemistry & Biology (Main Bulk)
and some Physics (Sub)
Didn't do very well for my Sciences for Os though (combined Chem & Phys) ):
they cater time slots for Self E-Learning where we copy notes off computers and do our own notes!
got PE Lessons some more like Basketball.
with a twist of course.
super cool right? (Army and Self E-learning is something which i didn't expect AT ALL!)
Still got Course Project Work OMG! xD
There's also E-portal for us to study at home!
and need to study for test over the weekends (Mug!) >.<
LoL.

Gotta go prepare for lunch appointment now.

what will happen to me when i see her yet again today?
oh well.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

talking to her online has been such a hard stuff.
there seems to be nothing to chat with her about,
'cause i don't know her much.
no insight of what are her interest or hobbies,
how to start?
if i ask too much questions,
it'll seem like i'm some physco/stalker?

reserved-- that's the word.
seems like our world are galaxies apart.
God help me.

well, alot of people in church has gotten back their A Levels results on friday.
i'm glad that most of them did well.
really well in fact.
but now is the moment where they have to make the decision.
one that will decide the life ahead of themselves.
i pray that they will make a right choice.

Seek God.
Jer 29:11

had a long talk with weiren yesterday about army.
the experience from army which we had shared was pretty insightful.
now i understand why army will bring MEN together.
it's like a common thing that all man in singapore has to go through.
seems like a pretty good platform for a dialogue.
the people who just got in asking those who had went through it.
i wish this was the same for YPM.
especially those in leadership.

We need leaders who are willing to sacrifice themselves and serve others.

oh pretty lady..
i really like you.
how should i approach?
gifts? flowers? cards?
i wanna let you know how i feel,
but when will the right time be?
i need more chance to talk to you,
then maybe i'll be able to express myself to you.
