Saturday, June 27, 2009

Today outing was fun!
Went out with my YPMs group to Pasir Ris Park to cycle..
Rained in the middle, so we seeked shelter.
Did really fun stuff like hanging upside down; hugging poles like Kolar bears.
Rain continued...
So we played Cat & Mouse and came up with some ingenious forfeits, like:
-Run to the lamppost and shout "Don't PDA" loud loud. (It's because we saw a couple PDA OPENLY, gosh.)
-Stuff popcorn in your eyes, nostril, earhole and mouth-full
Rain got lighter around 11:10am, and we actually planned to purposely ride pass the couple and make a din by ringing our bells, who were caressing all the more now. Zzz.
But didn't in the end, cause we decided it was too evil.
Rain got heavier as we tried to dash back to return our bikes. Got totally drenched. =/
Only ride one hour, Wasted.
But nonetheless, how often do we get to cycle in the rain? (:
Annette and Joseph fell off the bike, but didn't get any injury. Thank God!

Went to E-hub! for lunch. Tried BBQChicken... Had Chicken Tortilla, haha.
Taste was pretty good. Serving was generally alright.
Then I realised I had forgotten about my shoebag! OMG! Left it at the Rent-A-Bike Kiosk.
Made a call, and thank God! The aunty kept it for me. (:
Dashed back to pick it up, and returned after 20mins, perspiring, only to find that my food hasn't come yet.
But the moment I sat down, my meal came too :D
Then when to watch Transformer 2, haha.
Not bad a movie, 150mins long, with lots of autobots fighting.
Magan Fox has such big/thick/fat lips. Gosh. Where got chio, except the figure. Lol
Went to church thereafter, all tired.
Had an Al-fresco dinner. We should do this more often! (:
Played soccer then went home.
Reached 1150
Blah.

H1N1 Attacks!
Seems good, lol.
Got 2 days to slack (Thursday and Friday)! (:
Half of the people in my Coy shifted to another block, the one which I had stayed at during my Course.
Now got so much free space in the bunk!
Whee
Had silly talks of like Zombie Attacks (adapted from 28days/Resident Evil). haha

Cool, I've finished reading Shadow: The Final Judgement, in just 1.5days! :D
Got too engrossed in it, and read super fast.
Also due to the amount of slack time I have la. Whole day of reading on Thursday, lol.
Felt like I got entwined in the book. As if watching a movie.
I've gotta thank this batch of my YPMs class for their influence on reading. Love ya all! (:

Anyway, got people come and confront me - for slacking too much in army. Gosh.
Shoo, Go away!

Took half day today to go for Yong-shen's birthday.
Proved to not be very fun..
Only drank a cup of Coke, and play a 'lil bit of Halo 3 on Xbox 360.
No food, no nothing. ):
Went to the hawker center new church for dinner and following that to church for some practice on the drum.
Sucked. Too long never play.
Oh well. =/

Bought a biege --- yesterday.

Happy birthday Yong-shen, 25th.

Yes, 'bout time.
YPM HAS WON THE "INTER-COS CUP"!!!
WEEEEEEEEHOOOOOOOOOOOOMEDAWAKAKA!
So happy!
3-3 was the score, a very tight match!
All the supporters were uber tensed, when the score was 3-2 on their side.
But thank God, we managed to score the last one, just a couple of minutes before the final whistle was being blown.
Many must have shared the joy when we did it! (:
And I LIKE our MASCOT, Annette the pompom! (go to Facebook to see the photos.)
Taking my second throphy so far in life was quite a happy feel.
Lost the first throphy, from one of my secondary school camp.
Cheers people!
'Clanks' made by our throphy resounded so wonderfully, it tickles.
Well done to the other churches who participated in the cup. (:

Ate part of a melon after full-time, while resting and watching the next match.
Brought by Jessie? They smashed it on top of a solid box made of plastic, orange in colour.
After 3-4 hits which the melon took smashing against the ground with full force, it splattered into bits!

Love it. Favourite fruit, though not much vitamins, haha.

YES! Finally took my bike to fix.
After 2 long weeks, and numerous nagging from my mum, yes.
Cut hair, I likes.
Did the consent form.
Called many people to try to get Hillsong Concert tix. Tough luck.
Today's sound sounded good from the back, I liked.
Cell was fun! :D
Had dinner with Kibs and Egg, and found out that Egg can only answer math and science questions..
Bought cake with Egg and Matt.
Annette trys to guess who.
Sleep.
Prepare bible study tomorrow morning.
Soccer @ Yio Chu Kang Stadium, 3pm. Bus leaves at 2pm.
Bye.

We won 5-2!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehooooooooooooooo!~ xD
Special thanks to Annette, Kibs, Egg & Matt for coming down to support. (:
Oh yes, and Isaac Tan went on the field and play, with a pants too big for his size, Lol.
It's mine, but too big for him.
He ran around with both hands on the hips!
Lol.
He missed 2 chances to score a goal, one of which was stolen by the opponent. They scored against themselves. HA! d:

Was it coincidence?
The song which Egg had posted up on his blog was being sung during service today..
God..

Won't You Lord take a look at our hands
Everything we have use it for Your plans
Won't You Lord take a look at our hearts
Mold it refine it as You set us apart

We want to run to the altar And catch the fire
To stand in the gap
Between the living and the dead
Give us a heart of compassion
For a world without vision
We will make a difference
Bringing hope to our land

We will answer the call
To build this church without walls
Let Your glory be shown
Bring salvation to the lost
To the lost...

Off to soccer now, Bye!
Y-Y-YPM! :D

Ubin Hike!
Tiring, but fun.
Activities weren't as realistic as The Journey, which was held in church 1-2 years back.
Used my compass (:
Fluff and Ji were there, and they were both so funny.
Egg has got an ambition to be an Architect? Can you believe that?! Lol.
Had dinenr at Subway-Eat Fresh with my group, sitting with Fluff and Ji.
Moved over to Egg, Kibs and Gid, and had some hearty talk about ministry..
Share the vision.

Went out to Suntec on Friday evening, meeting up with Kibs, Gid and Fluff.
Went to shop for my street soccer shoes, but was to no valid.
Had to go over to The Cathay to get it later after everyone left.
And the size wsn't ins't the best fitting still, UK 8. I wear UK 7.5.. ):
Didn't manage to grab my Dvd driver too, they jacked up the price at IT Fair.
Helped Kibs choose a HP lappy, which saved $400 from what she originally wanted, with just a slightly lower specs. Heh.
I feel happy! You're welcome btw~ (:
Had dinner at some Jap resturant over at Marina, treated by Uncle Bernard.
Thanks! (:

Did something stupid on msn.
Stupid me.
I'm sorry Kibs, please forgive me.
Love.

ABC was fun Fun FUN!
Gosh, I'm missing it now.
Bunked with Isaac Tan and Egg, Lol! Super fun having the pillow fights xD
Made Egg cry & angry through the stay, wOOts!
Success des~ (:

Met Yongshen, Egg's cousin.
Same like Egg, he was quiet, and didn't like to talk much.
He eventually came over to our bunk and sleep with us for the whole camp, haha..
Sermons were Good on wednesday and Thursday, but not on Monday and Tuesday.
Pastor Daniel Ho rocks.
The other was a finicial consultant in disguise, bleh.
Tried 2 new sports: Squash and Beach Volleyball
Squash is very fun, and super tiring sport, Lol. Realised that though the opponent and I were in a box like area, we had to run like mad. Very fast paced too! But I like! (:
Beach Volleyball is also a very fun sport. Learnt the basic serving technique and some rallys. Truely enjoyable sport. Diving and save the ball was nonetheless the most fun thing to do, 'cause I look so cool! :D

Woah woah, I learnt alittle bit of the 'Nobody' dance, and soon before I know it, I was sabo-ed to dance on the frontline. zzz
Ok, I shall stop dancing, cause there're people who said I looked GAY while dancing.
I was just being daring btw, and I'm still straight.
Pish.
Had tons of random prank calls from people, lol.
Got fooled by Luke (aka Aunty SiokMeui or something) zzz.
Played Kolar Bear and Murderer on the last night, and I retired at 3am, earlier than Egg and Isaac.
Kolar Bear was super hilarious, Lol. Especially the statements which I had so purposely made a joke out of it. Almost everyone laugh, except her.
Oh well..
Kibs didn't join us though, cause her group fell alseep =/
Bought a ton of nonsense goods before going back to Singapore, hope they're good.
Dragon Fruit! :O

Went over to Ning's house to get the computer my uncle said he didn't want.
Got free facial from my Aunty, with tea snack :D
Took the computer over to Luke's house to tweak it, haha.
Took about 5 hours.. In the end, he sent me home, delivering my computer and waiting for me to pack for ABC, then went back to his house and stayed over
Wee~ Thanks Luke!!
The new com is fast, cause it's a virgin, haha.. (as described by Luke)
Went out for supper with Luke & Jon. Just had a simple Kosong prata.
Just finished playing game with Luke and Jon Ho, ended around 5am.. :P
Gonna take a short nap before Samson comes over to fetch Luke & I over to church.
Off to ABC! (:

Skipped YPM and went for Isaac's School Band concert, was pretty nice.
New hall, new chair, with a just renovated school compound.
Well, it smells new at least..
Btw, Good Job Isaac! (:
He plays the Trombone, so was sitting pretty far in, cannot see him, especially when he slouch.
The stage was alittle too cramp for the number of people though, really packed.
Familiar songs were being played.
Didn't like the conductor, 'cause he kept on gettting up and down the conductor's stage. Irritating.
The people on stage kept moving around after 1-2 songs too, switching from Junior to Senior to Junior, zzz.. Seemed like a mess.
There was a harp in the band though, interesting instrument (:
tired.

The Snowager - Rawr!
Stock Market prices are dropping, omg!! - Rawr Rawr!
Alright, I just made a trip to Compass Point, and many interesting happened.
I rode my bike to there, and on the way, along a straight and deserted bridge with a slight upward gradient, a car came racing down.
It sounded like thunder when it zoomed pass me, and there was like a burning smell, a sweet one though, not the like from the tire or the exhaust. Weird.
There after when it reached the horizon, on the top of bridge or some sort, I saw Sparks! Whee~
Moron.
Riding to there was tough business, and it was dusk by the time I'd reached.

Walked the mall, bought coffee podwer for my mum from YaKun, and some Youtiaos for porridge at home.
Came across a stall named "Pai Kia", haha!
And interestingly, there's a pie named "Ham&Cheese Pie" "Cheese&Ham Pie".
The former would sound too nasty, to many young but not so innocent ones, Lol.
Bought one and try, was good. Only $1 (:
Went up to the library! After many years, ahhh...
Tries to hunt for the Left behind series books, and I'd managed to locate 2! (:
Book One - Soon: The Beginning Of The End
Book Two - Silenced: The Wrath Of God Descends
Woopie! :D
There's Book Three - Shadow:Xxxxxx, but it's only available at Marine Parade Community Library. Will go there and borrow, after I'm done with this 2 (:
I'll attempt to finish these 2 novels by next Sunday!

Night has fallen by the time I got out of the mall, and I rode to a nearby Shell station to pump my wheels.
To my amazement, I think I accidentally broke the tube! Zzz...
GRAW!
This means game over, I'll have to throw away my bike. =/
Still nonetheless, I tried to cycle as far as possible with the flat tires.
Managed to reach Anchorvale CC before the rubber came off, Lol.
Initially, I was still planning to push my bike back home, which is about 1km away..
But thank God, he reminded me that there SHOULD have bicycle parking lots at the CC! :D
Walked across a hockey field, with some Aussies vs Malaysians.
Seems like hockey is soccer played with a stick, haha.
Parked my bike there, and walked all the way back home.
I'll go and retrive and send it for repair works tomorrow morning.
Anyway, only when I'm almost reaching did I rememberd that I have my phone with me, and so I blasted it. Thank God that I had charged my phone before leaving the house.
Phew~

Coming to Ten already, imma go get more dessert from the kitchen
Ciaoz

My mum had just passed me RM100 for me to spend during ABC
Thanks Mum! :D

Oh, this Friday, Jingrong, Rachel and I will be watching Night At the Museum 2 (:
Many people can't make it, but nonetheless, I'm sure it'll be fun! :D

Hoof.
Monday was a day of hard work for the newly posted 3SGs into the company which I'm in now ( 39SCE Bravo Coy), 'cause the Pioneers were having their POP on Tuesday.
We had to do up 2 Huge tents, and 3 small modular tent (that's what they call it).
Many "Camo nettings" were used.. untangling and hanging them up was surely not a fun thing to do at all.
The SUN was also very unbearable.. Scorched like mad!!!
Pewpew~
It took the whole daylight to do most of the setup, and the result is a very ugly singlet tan. YUCK.
Following day, I rehearsed on driving the PET to place, cause I'd volunteered myself for it (:
And later in the evening, I had to dawn on the IPE suit! Bleh.
But nevermind, it's been awhile anyway.. I'll just take that as good training.
Was worth it in return to drive the PET!

Oh oh, and many "bad" things happened in camp just within the 2 days..
I kinda felt that I wasn't displaying the Christ-likeness in my daily life..
Slack too much! And people's eyes are really good at spotting slackers while they are working, seriously.
Examples:
-Woke up late for 5BX, and people just really stare hard on you.
-Went to bathe after I MOPP down from the suit, which was supposedly ok, but a guy saw me coming out of the toilet after I'd showered while the others were shifting tables at the MPH..
-"Cyclopesed" (Eye-power) alot while people setup the tentage.
Pewpew~

As for today, my company had a Team Building, Team Learning (TBTL) session at King's Mansion (located in Marine Parade area), owned by some guy.
My coy changed OC and CSM down last week, and it was also to integrate the new batch of us.
The discussions were pretty dry, cause the regulars already come out with the points beforehand.
So the others were there more of just to sit in to hear them air their propositions for the coy.
Yawns.
Dinner turned out bad.
Initially we decided on Catering at the coy after a poll against BBQ.
I voted for BBQ, but no one else buy the idea.. So I simply had to resign to fate.
But the outcome was different.. It was BBQ!~
However, I saw the bad side of it.
Too many people, too little time
All were hungry, no one was willing to cook.
People was more eager to leave than to stay.
Bleh-

I stayed on till 2030, by then only one other new guy (my bed buddy) was left, and the number decreased from around 60 to 11 people.
They started throwing people into the pool, and I became a victim, the last one.
But I went in there without them throwing me, cause while I struggled to not get pinned, they make too big a rukcus.
A resident or the security came and reproved us, saying:
"Aye, you guys are a bunch of army boys, can't you behave yourself in the public?
People came back from work, and trying to get their rest.. blah blah blah.."
And someone replied rudely:
"Aiyo, we also not wearing uniform, don't care him la"
Lol. That would have gotten us into hot soup if he reported to the police.
Leftovers were plenty, so I took 2 packets of satay back, for the BBQ on friday (:
There were tons of stingray, but I was just too paiseh to take anymore..
OC was kind, he gave me a lift home.
His car had this cool GPS, like the size of an iPhone (:

Thinking of plenty of things now, hmm..
