The adventurous me decided to go for a skate today morning.
Skating along a new route was fun, and it's hard to predict what might appear on the corners, so I went slow.
It's been a long time since I'd skated.
And you guess it right, I fell.
Here's what happened...

--
Went to the newly built park around the Anchorvale region.
I thought that it was terrific at first.
The one on the Left has a really steep slope, skating down it was nerve breaking.
Went one round around it, and I was STILL in one piece!
So I ventured off to the other side, the Right side.

Now there were some couple taking photos under a nicely built shelter (there's a better term than this.)
As for me, I want to avoid them, lest I might interrupt their photo shooting.
And I headed down a carpark just beside.
It was a downawrd slope road.
It's squarish.
I went for it.
I know I can manage the turn at the bend.
But I totally forgotten about this - Rollerskate and wet ground do not compliment each other!
BUAHK!
And worst of all, the wet area (just a wee bit of water winding from the curb) was located at the bend.
While I was turning, I went low, like motorcross bikers those kinda angle.
And as soon as I hit the wet ground, I felt a wobble on my skates.
Thud!!
Prissssss....... (sound produced when human ski on rough road surfaces with their rollerblades on)
KO.
I was lying on flat on the ground.
To save the discomfiture from passer-bys, I got up quickly, brushed off the dirt and cleaned my wounds.
Pretty good break fall though.
Only ski 1-2m.
Ended with a superficial cut on my wrist, and a big bump on my tight (like a big mosquito bite!)
--

A particular aunty who was with her kid at the park stared at me, as if I were a clown from the circus.
cheh.

Went on to Macs to takpao (ang moh slang) breakfast home.
Didn't bring coupons along (cause I don't have, zzz.)
Wasted.
