Hoof.
Monday was a day of hard work for the newly posted 3SGs into the company which I'm in now ( 39SCE Bravo Coy), 'cause the Pioneers were having their POP on Tuesday.
We had to do up 2 Huge tents, and 3 small modular tent (that's what they call it).
Many "Camo nettings" were used.. untangling and hanging them up was surely not a fun thing to do at all.
The SUN was also very unbearable.. Scorched like mad!!!
Pewpew~
It took the whole daylight to do most of the setup, and the result is a very ugly singlet tan. YUCK.
Following day, I rehearsed on driving the PET to place, cause I'd volunteered myself for it (:
And later in the evening, I had to dawn on the IPE suit! Bleh.
But nevermind, it's been awhile anyway.. I'll just take that as good training.
Was worth it in return to drive the PET!

Oh oh, and many "bad" things happened in camp just within the 2 days..
I kinda felt that I wasn't displaying the Christ-likeness in my daily life..
Slack too much! And people's eyes are really good at spotting slackers while they are working, seriously.
Examples:
-Woke up late for 5BX, and people just really stare hard on you.
-Went to bathe after I MOPP down from the suit, which was supposedly ok, but a guy saw me coming out of the toilet after I'd showered while the others were shifting tables at the MPH..
-"Cyclopesed" (Eye-power) alot while people setup the tentage.
Pewpew~

As for today, my company had a Team Building, Team Learning (TBTL) session at King's Mansion (located in Marine Parade area), owned by some guy.
My coy changed OC and CSM down last week, and it was also to integrate the new batch of us.
The discussions were pretty dry, cause the regulars already come out with the points beforehand.
So the others were there more of just to sit in to hear them air their propositions for the coy.
Yawns.
Dinner turned out bad.
Initially we decided on Catering at the coy after a poll against BBQ.
I voted for BBQ, but no one else buy the idea.. So I simply had to resign to fate.
But the outcome was different.. It was BBQ!~
However, I saw the bad side of it.
Too many people, too little time
All were hungry, no one was willing to cook.
People was more eager to leave than to stay.
Bleh-

I stayed on till 2030, by then only one other new guy (my bed buddy) was left, and the number decreased from around 60 to 11 people.
They started throwing people into the pool, and I became a victim, the last one.
But I went in there without them throwing me, cause while I struggled to not get pinned, they make too big a rukcus.
A resident or the security came and reproved us, saying:
"Aye, you guys are a bunch of army boys, can't you behave yourself in the public?
People came back from work, and trying to get their rest.. blah blah blah.."
And someone replied rudely:
"Aiyo, we also not wearing uniform, don't care him la"
Lol. That would have gotten us into hot soup if he reported to the police.
Leftovers were plenty, so I took 2 packets of satay back, for the BBQ on friday (:
There were tons of stingray, but I was just too paiseh to take anymore..
OC was kind, he gave me a lift home.
His car had this cool GPS, like the size of an iPhone (:

Thinking of plenty of things now, hmm..
