Realign, Respond, Reconstruct

Camp Theme Verses:
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path
Psalm 119:105
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Matthew 5:14

For the many who didn't know about the Camp's theme verse, here it is...
I had also forgotten about it, and never notice that it wasn't on the camp booklet, haha..

Well, in summary - YPM CAMP '09: From The Inside Out - was GREAT!
It so Rocked my soul, my world.

IGNIS - Fire. o
Characteristics of Fire:
Uses of fire:
Requirements to sustain fire:

P.S. I really want to share this, but too bad such that I wasn't there on the first day of camp, and I forgot about it during the rest of the camp.. (I'm getting forgetful..) =x

Now, let's talk about my group.. :D

Neville, IGNIS' leader, is fantastic!!! *Claps Claps*
*I personally felt that he has done a good job. (:
*He shared many personal testimony during devotion and group time, which was very encouraging..
*He was able to lead the group to share, though the group was overly quiet.. (Xcept me that is, haha..)

Gladys, IGNIS' Assistant Leader, is of good help. *Claps Claps*
*Not bad, considering it's the first few times.
*Can improve more in the area of leading devotion/bible study/sharing
*Highly energetic and cheerful

Esther, IGNIS' youngest member, is very shy.. Didn't get to know her much..

Isaac has opened up slightly, and he actually shared some personal situations that he is facing during group time and devotion. Still gives a very reserved/mysterious feel.

Zhi-en... Answers only when promted to, tsk. Everything else just *Shrugs*. Tsk tsk.

Cheryl, IGNIS' "new face", from Riverlife Church. Didn't get to know her well.. But to me she seems pretty bubbly and cheerful. (:

Cherlyn, cheery person with lots of smile on her face whole day long! :D

Me. Just me.

That's all in my group. 8 in total. Small and cozy. (:

Games were fun!!! xD
Though I had missed day one games (which I heard it was pretty gruesome and dirty), I totally enjoyed myself on Day 2's game! Was a station master for Day 3's games though. But i'm happy that my group won at my station (not out of bias-ness hor!).

I shall elaborate on Day 2's games then... It was The Amazing Race, or so they call it. Thought that maybe a name like "The Great YPM Walk-a-ton" or " YPM RPG" would have sounded cooler, haha.
You guessed it. We walk... and Walk... AND WALK SOME MORE!
Total distance covered that day was like 8km, spreaded over 6.5hours?!
It's actually quite short la, as compared to the army's 24km. But it's cause we had to stop and do quests/solveproblems/facethechallenge etc. Took up pretty much amount of time.

First station was Stack! You know, the card pyramid thing?
My group chose to do 5 tier instead of 3, cause we too zai already! haha. No la, was just too lazy to do the hand/palm thingy.
We were able to pass this station and it was all thanks to Ze.
Serious.
He was the one who gave us the magical formula to solve the sliding problem which my group had been facing for like 20mins. It kept falling on tier 2, too slippery. None had any idea on how to play this game. We tried de-surfacing the card so as to make it rough; building it against a wall;
And the formula was to just simply fold the card into half...
That's it! So simple!
And guess where he got that idea from!! Amazingly, it was from the design (crafted lines) that was on the pillar of the building which we're at!

Alot of people got heat stress after the whole thing! Neh drink enough water, tsk.

Praise & Worship was good. I'm not saying this cause I'm the Camp Comm in charge of Music, but rather it's because I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit! Real Awesome...

Sermon was doublely better. Chien Chong is such a good speaker. Praise God for giving him such talent. The way he preach from the word, he made them come alive, and with so much applications, it's endless!

***Sermon notes to be added in later. For future reference, others to read.

Gah, To Be Continued...
