Reminiscence
Revisiting the place I stayed at 6 years ago before the shift has brought back much memories...

Memories of my younger days,
Days when things were just exciting,
Without worries, I ran along with friends..

Friends faded, and lost contact,
People come and people go,
But some things are still the same, just that it is older now..

The stall owners at the coffee shop,
Those who knew me from young,
Who had seen through my growing up in the neighbourhood, they are still around..

Toiling their days ever so long,
Dishing out food that taste like old times,
With prices the same, not affected by economic ups and downs..

Took a walk back on the track that I had taken each morning,
The familiar path past the Houngang GRC office,
And chasing buses that come out of the corner, right on time!

Nostalgia..
