Pastor Ed Young - 'Hole 'Nuther Level

Some nonsensical, but cool video xD

Imagine, one day, God threw everyone into the sea! *Swoosh*
We grab onto whatever we can in the moment of panic, most of which are poor floatation devices (ie money, possesions, fame, carrer, achievement.
A rescue boat is being deployed to seek for survivors, equipped with a rescue float, with a rope attached onto the boat.. The rescue process begins!
The Ring is the Thing - Jesus is The One that people need now, the steady flotation device. Have we told others about it?
The Rope is the Hope - Have we been evangelising, bringing others to Christ?
Pull so the house will be Full - Have we been rescuing those drowning or do we leave then floating in the open sea?
We are Saved to Serve, otherwise we Swerve - Have I been doing my portion of work?

Then...
There's a Marina (Yacht Club) just 20m away from where people are drowning. A couple emerge from one of the boat, smiling and waving, pretending that everything is okay, having fun, spanking each other on the bottom, refuse to go out and help.
20m.. Surely they are able to look out into the sea and spot people who needs help..
How am I acting as a Christian/Church?
Am I being tied down to the dock, unwilling to release the anchor to go out into the sea to rescue?

Have I been giving 'Rescuses' (excuses)?
*'Shee-ple' excuse - act blur (like sheep); ignorant
*Safety excuse - desire a comfortable life than to take risk
*Depth excuse - the people who are drowning are not in waters deep enough for my effort
*'God-in-a-box' excuse - Christian to mix with Christian only, and not care about the world. Is that what we're called to do? Surely not!

The longer we stay in church, the lesser drowning people we will meet.
If you're drowning, start realising, YOU NEED HELP, grab hold!

Are you a Rescuer, a Yacht Club member or the drowning man?

Wow, the trip to Sydney was FANTABULICIOUS!
Weiren & Kim were with me on flight over, to meet up with Angela, Yvonne, Michelle & Iz.
Hot chocolate on the plane IS THE THING, Super Nice!
Stayed over at Jon & Ka-mun's place.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR OPENING YOUR HOUSE! :D
Angela was our tour guide, who showed us the city and suggested to us REAL good stuff to try.. And Gourmet chef, who made lunch (Sandwich & Pasta & Sandwich with cheese) for us throughout the whole of the conference!

Shopping spree over at Woolworths (like Cold Storage, they have the slogan 'Fresh Food People') for candies..
TIM TAMs were on offer there, with many flavours not available in SG, so Weiren and I bought plenty back, lol..
Also visited The Rocks and Queen Victoria Building to do some light browsing.
Pancakes on the Rock, yummy! :D
Hurricane Grill, Juicy & Tender & Luscious & all good things in a beef!
We had to wear bibs, just in case the beef messed with us, haha.. xD
Fish Market sold some very FRESH FISH, you can taste the ocean in them!
Menya Ramen is better than Ajisan-Ramen 13287589874times over.

Hillsong Conference 2010 was awesome, cause I met God there.. (:
The songs sang during the conference were nice, many of which was released some time ago, and all from the newest album - A Beautiful Exchange, and they made it sound Uberly good!
Had a cup of coffee every morning from PABLO&RUSTY's before heading down to Acer Arena, helps fight the Z-monster, and keeps our hands warm for the morning, ummhum!
Made 2 new friends during the stay too, Nathan - the lonely guy who sat beside me, and Ryan - the friendly usher of Door 57, which we always queue to enter.

Met up with Iz one last time to see him off before he head over to Canberra for his 2 years of studies, sob sob.. T_T
Went to Paddy's Market on the last day to do some quick shopping.
Bought a Shawl for my sister, a Pullover & Scarf for myself, and some souveniors for others.
Took ferry to Darling Harbour (last minute plans), which turned out to be worthwhile. (:

Funny poster found there.. TEXTAHOLICS - to all who needs help with addiction to sms..

Too bad we only planned to stay for a week, should have done it for one more week, with ample time to explore the city..
Oh well, but all was worth it. The time spent with both of you, Weiren and Joshua, makes things worth.
Happy Memories*  (:

YA3 LG was fun yesterday! :D
We stayed back after to watch World Cup together @ Justin's - Netherlands vs. Brazil
Brazil lost! haha :P
Moses drove me home thereafter..
And the trip was not wasted; a trip with Moses is never wasted. (:

How to boil a soup that tastes GOOD?

Ahhh, spent the whole of today packing, running around the house, climbing up and down, trying to locate missing items..
I can't even remember where I "kept" some of my stuff...
Lol.
So excited!!!
See you guys next week!  :D
See you the day after Iz. (:
